The JCR and hall community

The Junior Common Room, or JCR as it is better known, is the student body of the hall and is led by the JCR committee, a group of elected students who look after specific areas of student life.

St Anselm Hall is unique in the fact it provides a strong cohesive community with many opportunities for students to get involved in hall life and beyond either through the JCR, the bar, the chapel and social events.

The work of the JCR committee was recognised in 2020 after presentation of the Committee of the year award by the Students Union.

St Anselm Hall JCR was recently awarded the halls 'committee of the year' award by the student union.

This demonstrates the hard work put in by the members of the hall JCR as well as representing the value of slems hall life.
