The Alumni Association is a group of Slems leavers who have remained in contact with each other, the hall and its student body. The Association continually promotes how valuable a good hall of residence can be to the university experience.

A variety of events supported by the association helps to bring both current residents of Slems and Alumni Association members together. Some of these events have previously helped current students with advice, getting internships and even getting jobs. Events include a yearly Summer Reunion, the London Dinner in the autumn, Sports Day (students vs alumni) and Slemsiversity Challenge, which pitches the Association against hall students in a quiz-show style event.

The Association also give out several scholarships to students every year, including scholarships for music, sport and history.
