Slems Stories
When he sat dreaming under a tree in Brookdale Park in 1907, Rev. Allworthy could hardly have imagined what he had begun.
Since its opening, St Anselm Hall has hosted thousands of men and, more recently, women. Among its alumni are a coal miner who preached for the King, a dutchman who volunteered to join the SOE in World War II and the Father of Maglav. This project is dedicated to telling their stories.
